Oscars 2022

Didnt watch, didnt care. What I did enjoy was Will Smith bitch slapping Chris Rock for making fun of his wife. I wish this happened back in the day. Elizabeth Taylor should have beaten Joan Rivers to near death.

as 2021 comes to an end

As the final days of 2021 trickle down to its final few, my thoughts turn to those not able to share in it. Covid 19 has taken more than 5 millon people worldwide. im sure many of those were not able to be vaccinated. poor countries dont have the abilty to fund mass vaccinations. who cry for them? why should only the rich countries get the medical treatments necessary to survive.

So this is Christmas 2021

So here we are celebrating another Christmas in the shadow of the pandemic. Hopefully you are all staying safe and healthy, the vaccines do work. Sadly so many don't have access to vaccines throughout the world that covid won't be going away anytime soon. Just one mutation will set this off again and again. We must make the vaccines available for free and for everyone worldwide to bring this pandemic to an end.

People before profits.

the heart of the matter

After two days of testing in Boston I was exhausted. The testing didn't tire me out as much as the heat and humidity. Too damn hot and muggy fo me. Never have I been able to handle the combination of both.

Anways, some friends have inquired what's going on. I was doing some pre operative testing, gonna have heart surgery. No valve job, no pacemaker or defib device. Getting my heart shaved. The inside wall of my heart should be 12 mm thick and it's 19 mm. The extra width is blocking the valve, so my heart in a sense backs up. This causes pain and shortness of breath and after six heart attacks its time to get fixed.

Now two to three months out of work recovering from this surgery won't be easy, it's won't be hard either. Thankfully there will be morphine to handle the pain of them sawing my ribs.

I'll have a visiting nurse for a couple of weeks and diarrhea too! They don't want you pushing hard to do a bowel movement. Now I can schedule the surgery for September but I am gonna hold off until January. One, I want to take my vacations later this year. But more importantly want to see how bad this covid surge gets.

So there you have it.

heart ❤

I was born with a hole in my heart and a smaller ventricle than I should have. It's caused me problems but I've dealt with them. It is the hand life dealt me.

In April after my 2nd vaccine my heart acted funny. I thought it was a side effect but it was not. As I didn't go to the hospital they don't know for sure is it was a heart attack. So they set up tests.

I had some a week ago and they said I needed more afterwards. Yesterday the doctor called and asked me to come in today for another test. So I went and did what I needed to do. Went home as i was going to do a half day but felt exhausted and called out.

Just got called by the doctor, he sees a problem. Don't ask me what he said, it's a blur. All I know is that he is making me an appointment at a Boston Medical Clinic that specializes in my heart issue. I'm about to take a nap and sleep this over.

Tomorrow starts my vacation, I'm going to DC. Will not push myself too much but, to be honest, I never have.

two months

Here I am alone and bored. Is it Saturday? Yes, Alexa says it is. For the last two months or so people through out the world have locked themselves away from others to stay safe from the corona virus. It is the smart thing to do but sadly many people cant. Our country is based on consumerism and the drones are getting restless. They want to go to a restaurant and have people wait on them. Go to the salon or barbers and cut their hair. More that that they want to go shopping and waste their time looking around. It sure aint living. What better way then show your freedom by making others wait on you. Its your right you say, while not even bothering to wear a mask. Yeah it is your right but it is the businesses right to deny you service too.

Just get over yourselves.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there. A double shout out to those single moms who do double duty. And a final nod to support those dads who do double duty too!
