Three years ago I was sold a bill of goods that if I could I would ask for my money back. You see, three years ago I voted for Barack Obama for President, I voted for change from an administration of war criminals and traitors. What I got was a man who sided with the other side on major issues and a man who continued down the same path towards the collapse of our great country.
The collapse of this country will not be caused by war or terrorism but by the reluctance of the wealthier Americans to pay their fair share. Taxes are not something to be shirked, they are the way we support this great country. Paying taxes Is PATRIOTIC!
I am proud of the fact my taxes go to Social Security for our seniors in their declining years, education for our children, safety standards and testing for our food and water, food stamps for our most vulnerable. Can you imagine how bad our economy would be right now if it weren't for these safety nets?
Sadly we don't have to imagine it if we actually open our eyes and look around us. But we liberals need to stop blaming the Republicans and start blaming ourselves, we continue to support Democrats who time after time give us lip service while voting the other way.
It truly is time for change, but change within ourselves. Stop supporting someone just because they are a democrat. Call your congressman, senators, and the white house and demand support for our liberal ideals. Time to stand up and lead our country back from the brink.
