London Olympic Opening Ceremony

The Olympics have started and they are taking place in London. If you have never been there you should do yourself a favor and go, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This year the Olympics are taking place there and I am sure it is more crowded then usual. However this rant isnt about the city but the opening ceremonies as broadcast on NBC. What a total borefest this was. I wanted to scream to Matt, Meredith, and the rest of the talking heads to shut the fuck up, nobody was turning in to hear them gab away. Now I am understanding why the Today shows ratings are falling. Now the talking was bad enough but did you have to run all those commercials? You totally ruined the broadcast for me. Here is to hoping you never broadcast them again.

Who can forget those words made famous by Red Foxx. They always brought a laugh whenever he said it. Sadly he died of a heart attack and even then people laughed. I dont make fun of heart attacks nor do I laugh at them anymore. Your whole perspective changes after you have one. I learned this the hard way in May. Yes I had a heart attack and yes it fucking scared me (thankfully not to death). So now I go to a gym and exercise, I try my best to eat right, and I am watching my health more closely. That is all I can do, hopefully that is enough. I have no intention of coming to join ya Elizabeth. Hell, I dont even know anyone by that name anyways.
