Harriet Tubman

This country will finally put a woman and a person of color on our currency and I for one say 'bout time. Harriet Tubman is an excellent choice and hopefully will encourage people to learn more about her and what she accomplished. Black history shouldn't be celebrated one month a year, it should be celebrated and taught all year round. That goes for all history as well. We only move forward when we learn from our past.

Interestingly she is being put on the $20 bill. Learn her history and you'll see that is a fitting place for her.
